Born From Years of Hands-On Grooming
Our founder has spent years working as a professional dog groomer in New York City, caring for thousands of dogs with different personalities, coat types, ages, needs, and comfort levels. That experience taught us something important: every dog is different.
Some dogs love being groomed. Others need more time, patience, breaks, and reassurance. Puppies may be experiencing grooming for the first time, while senior dogs may need a gentler pace and extra comfort. That philosophy is at the heart of our grooming services.
Ode to Tails offers gentle, one-on-one house-call grooming in NYC, bringing professional care into the comfort of your dog's own home. By working in a familiar environment and taking the time to understand each dog's individual needs, we aim to make grooming a calmer and more positive experience for both dogs and their people.

From the Grooming Table to Everyday Life
Working closely with dogs also showed us that their comfort doesn't end when grooming is finished. Rainy sidewalks, dirty city streets, snow, and everyday messes can quickly turn freshly cleaned paws into dirty ones again. We wanted a simple solution that could be carried easily and used when needed.
